Once a year we open the studio and make available everything we've set aside.
Every sculpture here is one we didn't ship. Some were carved to test a design. Some came from photo shoots. And some came out with a natural variation int he stone color, so we carved the piece again and kept this one.
SMPL means sample. Design tests, photo shoot pieces, one-offs.
IMPF means imperfect. Something in the piece differs from normal. Usually a natural inclusion of another color running through the stone that we didn't see until the carving was finished. Whatever it is, it's written in the product description.
Every listing is one-of-one and shows the exact sculpture you'll receive. When a piece sells, that's it.
