I commissioned this from a photo I took from the vantage of my brother's jogging route leading up to the Organ Mountains. Ben and his team took this image and developed a sculpture of the topography with high fidelity. The y kept me in the loop with both design inputs and development progress updates. I gave this to my brother as a Christmas present and he ran his fingers across the sculpture and identified each of the peaks. He was overcome with emotion as the sculpture captured the essence of the scenery he was intimately familiar with.

Highly recommend this product for both the accuracy of the detailed topography and the outstanding customer service.

The entire process felt very personal. My wife loves the Tatra mountains in Poland. The order was a surprise gift for Christmas. They rendered the mountain range from pictures and it looked great. A little back and forth to tweak the base and color, then placed the order. It was shipped in an amazing wood box and arrived in plenty of time for Christmas. She absolutely loves the sculpture. Highly recommend. Also take note of the suggestions for lighting, makes a big difference in the final presentation.

My wife and I ordered this carving as a gift for her sister and brother-in-law, who spend half of their year in Jackson and the other half in Charlottesville, Va. I'm hoping they like it for their Virginia home, especially after it becomes too difficult for them to travel to Wyo. It's pleasing to have the first edition of the view from Jenny Lake, and the craftsmanship is indeed very good. That said, I would have opted for the more famous Cathedral Group, since a) it is exactly the view from my in-laws' dining room and master bedroom windows and b) I think especially in this smaller version (all we could afford) it would have displayed better. But my wife said, "They really like Jenny Lake and going up Cascade Canyon," andf she won. Truth to tell, I'm sort of partial to Teewinot anyway, so we have put the sculpture on a bookshelf so we can admire it before we re-box it for the in-laws, and it has indeed begun to grown on us. I have photos of this Jenny Lake view and this carving is faithful. And I really enjoyed tearing through the packaging! Merr Christmas!
